Sunday Morning

Originally sketched during the Cedarburg  Plein Air Event, Sunday Morning is a painting of the historic Cedar Creek Settlement along the river on a calm, sunny June morning.  The river changes from a glassy mirrored pond to falls and foam, then to tumbling , churning  whitewater rapids.  On the far river bank are the century old, cream city brick mill and neighboring buildings, now a popular destination for travelers and vacationers.  Sunday Morning is a room defining painting in a Florentine Walnut metal Logan frame, with float  mounting, double matting and museum quality framing materials.
