Cedar Creek Dam

Cedar Creek is a painting of an historic 5-story mill in Cedarburg, WI.  The slanting rays of a late afternoon warm the trees in this icy and snow covered falls.  Sharp details and crisp white contrast with the brilliant ultramarine navy of the water as it tumbles over rocks and clumps of dry grasses.   This painting was created on hot pressed d'Arches watercolor paper, float mounted and double matted with museum conservation mats and custom framing.
