The historic Landmark Feed Mill building is a famous Ozaukee County icon. A favorite subject for plein air painters and studio artists alike, it offers brilliant colors in the fall and the rural charm of downtown Cedarburg. The room defining size of this impressionistic landscape brings drama to any space it occupies. The Landmark Mill captures the fine details of bare branches, autumn leaves, tumbling waterfalls and the
18th century architecture of the stone mill, yet it retains an impressionistic, spontaneous style that is full of movement. Painted on Arches cold pressed watercolor paper, float mounted and matted in museum quality cream colored mat board, this painting is framed with a 4 1/2 inch silver leaf custom wood frame.
