IMG_4213 Grafton Interurban Bridge, Autumn

Grafton Interurban Bridge, Autumn is one of five original miniature paintings created for The Little Show, Cedarburg Cultural Center's annual juried holiday art show, which opens Wednesday, November 29 with a Reception and Award Program.  This painting has bright autumn colors and features the bridge spanning Cedar Creek, which carries the Ozaukee Interurban Trail.  It was painted on Arches paper, then bonded to a basswood cradled panel, finished with varnish and a soft brushed wax.  It is framed in a pecan float frame.
