Eagle Bluff Lighthouse was created as part of a five piece set for the Cedarburg Cultural Center's annual holiday exhibition, The Little Show.  It shows the signature lighthouse built upon the rocky bluffs of Nicolet Bay in Peninsula Park.  Lighthouses are a vanishing breed of architecture, like barns, in Wisconsin.  A popular tourist site, the lighthouse orients in several different angles against the sky and is constructed with stone that the builders had to haul up the bluff manually!  This painting is 6" x 6", mounted on a cradled wood panel and finished with fine art varnish, waxed and buffed to a soft shine.
