PaddleTavern II

PaddleTavern II is a full size watercolor of downtown Milwaukee, showing the river life, PaddleTavern, boats and artwork in the city during the 2020 Sculpture Event.  Colors are saturated and brilliant with New Gamboge Yellow, Opera Rose, Viridian Green and Cerulean Blue.  Similar to an earlier painting in a series, this painting is a traditional watercolor on 300 lb. hot press Arches paper, float mounted, double matted with conservation materials and framed in a light pecan wood frame.  It was juried into the Watercolor Wisconsin 2020 exhibit at the Racine Art Museum.
