Interurban Trail Bridge, Grafton is a winter landscape of  the bridge over Cedar Creek that is modeled after an original interurban railway bridge.  This painting was created after a freshly fallen, deep snowfall.  The red iron structure of the bridge is a strong contrast to the soft white pillows of snow banks and the icy ultramarine blue of the river below.  Ozaukee's Interurban Trail bridge is an important part of the county's environmental program, following the national "rails to trails" movement.  Asthetically, its simple silhouette and historic legacy offers a pleasing element to the landscape.  This painting was created on 300 pound Arches hot pressed watercolor paper, is float mounted, double matted and framed in a custom wood frame.
