Under the Interurban Bridge IMG_0015

Under the Interurban Bridge, a plein air painting created during Cedarburg Artists Guild event, Paint Cedarburg, shows one of the  historical icons which characterize the town.  It features the bridge on a backlit sunny morning, mirrored below on the river surface. the multiple perspective angles off both the bridge and the reflection, which are overlaid with surface ripples, shadows and sun blooms, presented a fascinating complexity.
