IMG_4218 Tendick Park Prairie, Fall / Seasons of Our Parks and Trails

Tendick Park Prairie is the last of a series on Seasons in Our Parks and Trails for the Cedarburg Cutural Center's annual juried exhibit, The Little Show which opens Wednesday November 29th at 6PM for a public Reception and Awards party.  This six inch square miniature is framed in a beautiful pecan float frame, mounted on a cradled basswood panel and finished with lacquer and a buffed wax surface.  Featuring the new prairie in Ozaukee county's Tendick Park, the painting depicts flaming red Indian Paintbrush, brown eyed susans, pale purple coneflowers and mixed grasses along a background of dark trees.
